About Tiff Lanza (They/Them/Theirs)
Hey Folx! Here is a little about me; I identify as a trans non-binary queer human. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I have been working in clinical settings since 2011.
My passions are supporting individuals in marginalized communities find their strength and power. My skills are heightened by all aspects of my identity: I am a Social Worker by heart, I am an enneagram 8 through and through, and I am all bits of a Libra. All of those qualities and more are what shape my skills as a clinician.
My partner and I have three cantankerous cats with amazing personalities. My true passion is Broadway and getting to see all shows from local youth theatre through NYC Broadway productions! My values and experiences are all part of what I bring to my work.
Education
I graduated from Widener University, completing a dual-degree Masters program; Masters in Social Work (MSW) and a Masters in Human Sexuality Education (M.Ed.). I continued to earn a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality. My dissertation research focused on exploring how mental health professionals incorporate human sexuality into trauma work with child survivors of sexual abuse (see article in resources tab above).

Therapy Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania & New Jersey. I am an EMDRIA approved EMDR Consultant. My therapeutic approach starts with trauma inclusive culturally informed therapy and person centered focus. The most vital part of therapy is having a connection and trust with your therapist. My role is to be a support while holding space for all of your feelings and experiences. I will help guide you so that you can identify what you need in your life to overcome any hurdle that is blocking your way. I love including celebrations and most importantly humor to our sessions! Laughing & celebration is incredibly healing!
