Supervision Towards Licensure
Maverique Therapeutic Services offers supervision for those pursuing their clinical social work license (LCSW).
Individual supervision is currently set at $100/60 minutes.
Supervision can be for those pursuing LCSW and those pursuing other licensure (MFT & LPC) under the same board: State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors.
Supervision is currently set for individual virtual service. If multiple supervisees have a shared focus in their career, the supervisor can offer a group option for those supervisees.

Pennsylvania Licensure FAQs
-
LSW’s, LPC’s, & MFT’s can start their hours towards supervised clinical experience following their graduate coursework. Hours from internships or supervision during graduate programs cannot be counted towards the hours needed for your licensure.
-
LSW’s & MFT’S need to obtain a total of 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience.
LPC’s need to obtain a total of 3,600 hours of supervised clinical experience.
40 hours per week worked = 2 hours of supervision per week
20 hours per week worked = 1 hour of supervision per week
* The 3,000 hours should be acquired in no less then 2 years and no more then 6 years.
*For each discipline, half of your supervision hours can be through a supervisor that has a different licensure. For example, an LSW can obtain 1,500 hours with an LPC or MFT; an LPC can obtain 1,800 hours with an LCSW or MFT; and an MFT can obtain 1,500 hours with an LCSW or LPC.

LSW’s, LPC’s, & MFT’s Absolutely. Group supervision tends to off set costs for supervision as individual supervision is typically priced higher. You can obtain group supervision through your individual supervisor if they offer a group or you can obtain group supervision from another licensed therapist.
However, group supervision can only be obtained while doing individual supervision simultaneously. If your individual supervision is paused or on hold, group supervision cannot continue.

For LSW’s, LPC’s, & MFT’s Yes, supervision can be done virtually through telehealth. Supervision needs to be “in person” or “live” meaning that the conversation needs to be happening in real time. That would include in person meetings or virtual meetings.
