“Dr. Lanza is a pleasure to work with. Every step of the process was so organized and tailored to exactly what our students needed – from scheduling and planning, to the actual groups, and the follow up questions that we asked! Dr. Lanza immediately won the respect and trust of the students – no small feat for middle and high schoolers! The students were so excited each week to go to group. The content was relevant to what they were going through and they made amazing connections with peers in the LGBTQIA+ community. 

Since participating in the group, the students have been more confident in advocating for themselves and proposing great ideas of much-needed change to our schools. This group has also inspired our teachers to be more visible in their support for our LGBTQIA+ students – there are rainbow signs, flags, and pins in every hallway! We are so excited to continue to partner with Dr. Lanza in the coming years for future groups. Their energy and positivity made this whole process so enjoyable and inspiring. THANK YOU!”
